just the opposite

Okay, so I have been very lazy as of late and my main project of making myself that shawl thingy, has kinda halted at the moment! I'm even thinking of ripping it all back, as I have found a really cute hat pattern that uses the same needles and wool!
Also, I needed to make something for my lil sisters birthday(which is tomorrow) so, that has taken up my time.

I knitted her a little shoulder bag, all my own design. I had a main idea in my head and just made it up as I went along. I used two different coloured yarns from the same brand, Alta"glitter" in baby blue and a soft pink. Really pretty colour combos if you ask me :D
So, I knit it up, attatched the strap and added some buttons on the front of the flap for decoration and to disguise where the colours meet hehe
I really love how it turned out and know my lil sis will too. I am knitting a small coin purse out of the remainder of the pink yarn and am gonna try to get some more blue tomorrow to finish that off and then post them on Monday.

I added a lining just to lessen the stress on the base
